WICHITA, KS- The Kevin McClelland era begins tonight when the Wichita Thunder takes on the Tulsa Oilers at the BOK Center.

Both clubs are in their 19th season and are two of the three remaining original members of the Central Hockey League, which expanded to 18 teams over the summer.

Emerson Biggin's West, located at 21st and Maize, will be showing tonight's season opener. The Thunder's official watch party sponsor is offering half-price jager, tuaca, and vegas bombs. Corona and Boulevard Wheat draws are only $3.00, while 80-ounce Miller Lite and Coors Light Beer Towers are just $12.00. The Biggin's Margarita on the Rocks is on special for $5.25.

The Thunder hosts Tulsa Saturday night in their 2010 home opener. Prior to the game, the Thunder plans to retire number '11' in honor of longtime great and current Assistant Coach Jason Duda.
