Tulsa Oilers coach Bruce Ramsay has announced the team will start the 2010-11 Central Hockey League season with a 19 player roster. The Oilers open the season Friday at 7:35 p.m. against the Wichita Thunder at the BOK Center.

"We had a very competitive training camp and now our guys are ready to get going. We know Wichita is going to be a much improved team and a good test out of the gate," Ramsay said. The two teams split a pair of preseason games.

The Oilers roster:

Goal-Trevor Cann, Tyler Sims

Defense-Sean Erickson, Stacey Baumann, R.J. Linder, Derek Eastman, Brennan Barker, Tyler Fleck

Forward-Dan Riedel, Chad Costello, Matt Robertson, Gary Steffes, Jack Combs, Chris Cloud, Jason Weeks, Marty Standish, Gord Bell, Harrison Reed, Mike Beausoleil

The Oilers had the second highest point total increase in the CHL last season under Ramsay, who was in his first season with the Oilers. They will have 33 home games at the BOK Center in the 2010-11 season, starting on Friday October 15th against the Wichita.
