Winterhawks Acquire Draft Pick from Red Deer Rebels

The Winterhawks have acquired a fourth round pick in the 2016 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft from the Red Deer Rebels in exchange for the rights to Taden Rattie.

The pick acquired by the Hawks originally belonged to the Tri-City Americans, who sent it to the Rebels in a prior deal.

Rattie currently plays for the Calgary Mustangs of the Alberta Junior Hockey League, where he has nine goals and 10 assists for 19 points in 34 games. He is the younger brother of Ty Rattie, a St. Louis Blues prospect who registered 348 points for the Hawks from 2008-2013, and was a member of the 2012-13 championship team.
