Tri-City Americans News Release
Kennewick, WA - The Tri-City Americans, along with Gesa Credit Union, announced today a multi-year partnership agreement, which includes naming Gesa Credit Union as the Official Credit Union of the Tri-City Americans. One feature of this new partnership allows Gesa members to show their Americans' pride by obtaining a co-branded Americans and Gesa Visa Debit Card.
"Fan affinity is an important part of the relationships we build with our partners," explained Americans' VP of Business Operations, Dan Mulhausen. "We are excited to partner with Gesa Credit Union on this engaging, new project and to offer yet another way for Americans fans to show their pride in and around the Mid-Columbia."
In addition to the branded cards, Gesa will also sponsor the Gesa Credit Union Saves for Students program, which provides funds for the Americans' 501(c)(3) Player's Continuing Education Fund. Conducted during all Americans regular season games, both home and away, Gesa will donate $2.00 for every save made by an Americans' goaltender.
Gesa members can obtain a branded debit card by visiting any of the nine local Gesa Credit Union branches and have their card printed instantly. For more information, visit the Gesa Credit Union website at Gesa.com.
