
Rebels Acquire Rights To Rattie

RED DEER, AB - Brent Sutter, General Manager of the Red Deer Rebels Hockey Club, announced today the team has acquired the rights to forward Taden Rattie from the Portland Winterhawks in exchange for a 4th round selection in the 2016 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
Rattie is currently playing with the Calgary Mustangs of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. He played last season with the Whitecourt Wolverines in the AJHL, and played the first 14 games of this season with the Wolverines before being traded to the Calgary Mustangs. In 87 career games in the AJHL, Rattie has 16 goals and 15 assists for 31 points, along with 297 minutes in penalties. He had committed to Western Michigan in the NCAA; however he is expected to join the Rebels tomorrow.
