
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Recalls Three Players

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today they have recalled forward Ty Loney, defenseman Clark Seymour, and goalie Brian Foster from the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL).
Loney, in his rookie season of pro hockey, has earned five assists and registered 28 shots on goal in 23 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
The Valencia, Pa. native has 14 points (5G-9A) in 20 games with Wheeling, including two assists in two games since the Penguins reassigned Loney to the Nailers on Feb. 17, 2016.
Seymour has set AHL career highs in goals (3), assists (2), and points (5) in 15 games with the Penguins this season. The second-year pro scored his first AHL goal on Dec. 16, 2015 against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms.
Seymour has appeared in 19 games for Wheeling this season, earning four goals and six assists for 10 points as well as 28 penalty minutes in that time.
In 14 games with the Nailers this season, Foster has a 6-7-0-1 record, a 3.12 goals against average, and .899 save percentage.
Foster, 28, has appeared in five games this season for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, posting a 2.97 goals against average and .879 save percentage. The sixth-year pro recorded his first career AHL shutout with 30 saves in a 3-0 Penguins win at Syracuse on Dec. 19, 2015.
