Albany Devils News Release

ALBANY, NY - The Albany Devils pushed their winning streak to five games with a 5-2 victory against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Sunday at Webster Bank Arena. Mike Sislo extended his goal streak to a league-leading seven games and Yann Danis moved his winning streak to six.

Raman Hrabarenka, Paul Thompson, Graham Black and Ryan Kujawinkski also scored as the Devils improved to 31-13-7-0 overall and 7-1-0-0 since returning from the All-Star break. With 25 stops, Danis registered his 23rd win of the season - fourth most in franchise history.

Bridgeport, which entered the game on an 11-game point streak, did lead early thanks to Ryan Pulock's point shot 2:24 after the puck drop.

Albany responded with the next two goals. Hrabarenka crashed the net, following up on Sislo's rebound at 6:54 of the first. Thompson made it a 2-1 game on a redirect in front off Matt Lorito's try from the high slot at 11:31 of the second frame.

Bridgeport's Mike Halmo tied the game on an odd-man rush before the period break at 16:27. From there, Albany never looked back.

Similar to Hrabarenka's goal, Black went to the net hard and found the rebound off Corey Tropp's shot at 19:40. Kujawinksi beat Christopher Gibson with a wrister at 2:12 and Sislo netted his league-leading 25th goal and third shorthanded tally at 13:12.

Since Sislo began his streak on Feb. 6, he has registered a league-high eight goals and three assists in seven games. Only Hershey's Chris Bourque (2g-10a) and Riley Barber (5g-7a) and Texas' Jason Dickinson (7g-5a) have registered more points.

Kujawinksi (1g-3a) and Thompson (1g-3a) both extended his point streak to four games. Matt Lorito moved his stretch to three contests (1g-2a) and Dan Kelly moved his streak to two games (1g-1a). As for Danis, during his six-game winning streak he has posted a 1.46 goals-against average and a .937 save percentage.
