
Wild Things vs ThunderBolts Game Suspended

Crestwood, IL -- The Washington Wild Things and Windy City Thunderbolts' game was suspended Saturday night in the fourth inning. The game will resume Sunday at 4:05 p.m. EDT. The Wild Things lead the the Thunderbolts 3-1.
The Wild Things scored three runs in the first inning when Jovan Rosa doubled and drove in Gus Benusa and Mark Samuelson. Rick Devereaux followed suit to drive Rosa in, giving the Wild Things a three run advantage. In the second inning Washington loaded the bases with no outs but the Bolts were able to put together a triple play to end the inning.
Windy City scored their lone run in the bottom of the second.
The first place Wild Things sit atop the East Division of the Frontier League with a 9-4 record.
Air Time on WJPA 95.3 FM is 3:55 Sunday. At the conclusion of the game Sunday, Windy City and the Wild Things will play their regularly scheduled game. The Wild Things return to CONSOL Energy Park where they will host the Frontier Greys on Tuesday night. Tickets are available at the CONSOL Energy Park Box Office.
