CHARLESTON, WV - Andrew Knapp hit a solo home run in the top of the 15th inning as the BlueClaws came from 7-0 down and top West Virginia 8-7 on Monday night at Appalachian Power Park.

The game, the longest of the year for the BlueClaws in both innings and time (4:45), gave the BlueClaws their second straight win after a seven-game losing streak.

Knapp's home run came off Adam Landecker of West Virginia, their 5th reliever of the night. It was Knapp's 3rd HR of the season and 2nd of the series.

Four BlueClaws relievers - Chris O'Hare, Ulises Joaquin, Will Morris, and Scott Harris - combined for 12.1 innings of scoreless relief with Harris earning his first professional victory.

Trailing 7-0 after three innings, the BlueClaws mounted a furious rally, getting on the board on an Andrew Knapp RBI single in the 5th. They scored twice in the 6th, on an RBI double by Willians Astduillo and an RBI single by Mitch Walding.

Then in the 7th, Lakewood added three more - on a two-run home run by Zach Green and on an RBI double by Willians Astudillo. For Green, it was his 3rd home run in the last two days.

They would tie the game in the 9th inning when Larry Greene Jr., pinch running for Willians Astudillo, scored on a throwing error by West Virginia pitcher Yhonathan Barrios.

West Virginia scored once in the 2nd and six times in the 3rd off Lakewood starter Jon Prosinski, who allowed seven runs in 2.2 innings pitched. Power starter Cody Dickson gave up one run in five innings and Lakewood got back in the game with five off Yhonathan Barrios.

The BlueClaws return home and open a three-game series against Hagerstown beginning Tuesday night at 7:05. RHP Yacksel Rios (1-0) opposes RHP Nick Pivetta in the series opener.
