West Michigan Whitecaps News Release
COMSTOCK PARK, MI - The West Michigan Whitecaps are sporting a new look in cyberspace. Early last week, the team unveiled a revamped website, which features easy to navigate buttons across the top, interactive polls and quick access to current stats. The site's address is still www.whitecapsbaseball.com.
"We felt it was time to give our fans something new, something better," said Whitecaps marketing manager Mickey Graham. "Our new site is very user friendly and easy to navigate. Fans will find all the information they need right at their fingertips."
The new site also gives fans the opportunity to purchase Whitecaps tickets online and print them out at home. In just a matter of minutes, you can look up the 'Caps schedule, choose a game and purchase tickets all from the comfort of your own home. The new site also allows fans to email tickets to others after they've been purchased. "The ease with which people can purchase tickets is really exciting," said Graham. "It's going to make coming to a Whitecaps game easier for the fans."
Another new feature of the revamped website is an email newsletter. The Breaker is published once a week and features information about upcoming promotions, on-line contests and ticket offers. Fans can also sign up for special press release and promotions newsletters that will notify them when there's special information about the team.
In addition, the new website offers fans many more on-line contests and polls. "We really wanted to give fans a chance to interact with the site," said Graham. "The fans are so important to what we do and this site is all about bringing Whitecaps fun to their living room."
The new site was designed by local company The Imagination Factory. To check out all the updates, log onto whitecapsbaseball.com.
