Wendy's And Amerks Team Up To Provide Special Ticket Offer

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans and Wendy's have partnered to promote Amerks hockey and make it more affordable in these tough economic times. Anyone can pick up a Buy One, Get One free ticket voucher at any local area participating Wendy's location.

The Amerks will offer the special ticket discount for six games during the 2008-09 season. The first Wendy's Night is Friday, November 21st as the Amerks host the Manchester Monarchs at 7:35 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena.

Friday, November 21 vs. Manchester Monarchs 7:35 p.m.

Friday, December 26 vs. Hamilton Bulldogs 7:35 p.m.

Friday, January 9 vs. Syracuse Crunch 7:35 p.m.

Friday, February 20 vs. Hershey Bears 7:35 p.m.

Friday, March 27 vs. Lake Erie Monsters 7:35 p.m.

Friday, April 10 vs. Syracuse Crunch 7:35 p.m.

Wendy's is also the official sponsor of the Amerks' "Reading Power Play." The program is in the midst of its 21 tour dates to local Monroe County Libraries. At each appearance an Amerks player is joined up with the Amerks Mascot, The Moose, to read a book, answer questions, perform a hockey demonstration and sign autographs for those in attendance. The next reading appearance will be held at the Brighton Public Library on Monday, November 24th.
