
Wolves Add Pair to Bolster Blueline

The Chicago Wolves have signed defensemen JAMES SANFORD and TYSON MARSH.
SANFORD has recorded eight assists, 11 points and eight penalty minutes in 12 matchups with the ECHL's Utah Grizzlies this season. Last year, the 24-year-old blueliner led team rearguards with nine goals, 24 assists and 33 points in 49 regular-season games and helped Utah reach the Kelly Cup conference finals, notching 14 points (3G, 11A) and 10 penalty minutes in 15 postseason matchups.
Overall, the Moncton, New Brunswick, native, has accrued 39 points (12G, 27A) and 63 penalty minutes in 92 career American Hockey League contests with the Hamilton Bulldogs and Milwaukee Admirals and has registered 73 points (17G, 56A) and 108 penalty minutes in 114 career ECHL games with the Peoria Rivermen, Long Beach Ice Dogs, Texas Wildcatters and Utah Grizzlies.
MARSH has posted three assists and 16 penalty minutes in eight outings with the ECHL's Reading Royals this year. Last year, the 24-year-old defenseman split the season between the AHL's Rockford IceHogs and ECHL's Columbia Inferno. He skated in a professional career-most 61 games for Columbia, notching 14 assists, 17 points and a career-high 126 penalty minutes and racked up four points (2G, 2A) and 19 penalty minutes in 11 regular-season matchups with Rockford and two assists and four penalty minutes in 12 Calder Cup postseason contests for the IceHogs.
Overall, the Quesnel, British Columbia, native, has registered six points (2G, 4A) and 77 penalty minutes in 45 career AHL games with the St. John's Maple Leafs, Toronto Marlies and the Rockford IceHogs. He has also tallied 44 points (6G, 38A) and 268 penalty minutes in 140 career ECHL matchups with the Pensacola Ice Pilots, Columbia Inferno and the Reading Royals.
