Worcester Sharks loan forward Dan DaSilva to Phoenix

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks General Manager Wayne Thomas announced today that the club has loaned forward Dan DaSilva to Phoenix in the ECHL.

The 23-year-old played in three games with the Worcester Sharks this season recording one point (0-1-1) along with 19 penalty minutes and a +1 rating.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native spent last season with the Lake Erie Monsters appearing in 54 games recoding 23 points (9-14-23) along with 50 penalty minutes. The fourth year professional has also played for the Lowell Lock Monsters (AHL), San Diego Gulls (ECHL), the Albany River Rats, and the Arizona Sundogs (CHL).

The Sharks return to Worcester for a Wednesday evening game (7:05p.m.) against the Norfolk Admirals. As with every Wednesday game at the DCU Center, $1 hot dogs will be available all night! Worcester will then fly to Texas for a pair of games. The Sharks will play in Houston on Saturday (8:35p.m.) and San Antonio on Sunday (6:00p.m.).
