
River Rats Team Up With My4 Albany To Smackdown The Crunch

ALBANY, NY - The Albany River Rats announced today that they will offer fans the chance to win WWE Smackdown Tickets as part of My4 TV Night on Friday November 21, 2008 against the Syracuse Crunch at 7:00 p.m.
The River Rats will host two different contests in conjunction with Channel 4 WNYA My4 TV to offer fans the chance to win tickets to the WWE Smackdown event at the Times Union Center on November 25. The first contest will allow fans to "dress up like your favorite WWE superstar" and five finalists will be selected to win a pair of tickets to Smackdown. The club will also host a "Create the best WWE Poster" contest where the fan with the poster judged to be the best by the team and the fans in attendance will also win a pair of tickets to the event. All runners up will receive a WWE prize pack as part of My4 Albany Night. Fans that are interested in participating should check in at the Fan Relations Center by the 10-minute mark of the first period to be included in the judging. Fans can see WWE Smackdown, exclusively in the Capital Region, every Friday night at 8:00 pm on WNYA, My4 Albany.
As with all Friday home games, fans can purchase $1 hot dogs and $1 small soda at either Capital Kitchen or Knickerbocker Grille concession stands.
Albany will complete their three-game road trip on Wednesday, November 19th with a rare 11:05 am game against the Philadelphia Phantoms at Wachovia Spectrum. The River Rats next home game comes on Friday, November 21st as they again host the Syracuse Crunch at 7:00 pm at the Times Union Center.
