Cedar Rapids Kernels News Release
The Cedar Rapids Kernels announce that INF Josh Davies has been assigned to Cedar Rapids from the Angels extended spring training complex in Tempe, Arizona. He will arrive in Cedar Rapids later this afternoon and be available to play in Monday's game against Wisconsin starting at 6:30 pm.
Davies, a native of Strathfieldsaye, Australia, played 41 games for the Kernels in 2006, batting .242 with 3 HR and 22 RBI.
The move puts the Kernels roster at 25 active players, the maximum allowed in the Midwest League.
