Colorado Eagles News Release
Last Week's Games:
(Friday, Nov. 6th vs. Tulsa) The Eagles scored two goals in the third period to defeat the Oilers 3-1 in the first meeting between the two teams since March 12, 2011. Colorado held Tulsa to a season-low two shots in the first period and limited the Oilers to just 12 shots in the contest. Goaltender Kris Lazaruk registered his first win as an Eagle, making 11 saves on the night.
(Saturday, Nov. 7th vs. Tulsa) Eagles goaltender Kris Lazaruk stopped 20 of the 21 shots he faced, winning his second consecutive start in a 2-1 victory for Colorado. Forward Ludwig Karlsson's first goal as an Eagle proved to be the game-winner, as the Eagles went 2-for-5 on the powerplay for the second consecutive game. With the victory, Colorado has now won each of its past three home games.
