Weekly Rewind

Friday, Nov. 9 - PENGUINS 1 at Providence 2 (OT)

The Penguins got a late goal from Sam Lafferty to push the game into overtime, but the P-Bruins scored a power play goal in overtime to win. Tristan Jarry made a season-high 36 saves.

Saturday, Nov. 10 - PENGUINS 4 at Hartford 1

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton got off to a fast start in the first period on their way to a convincing victory over the Wolf Pack. The Penguins scored three times in the first 4:31 of the game, and Thomas Di Pauli set a career high with three points (1G-2A).

Sunday, Nov. 11 - PENGUINS 2 at Providence 5

The Penguins returned to Dunkin' Donuts Center for their third game in as many days. Despite third period goals from Derek Grant and Anthony Angello that made things interesting, the comeback bid came too late. Tristan Jarry had another game with a heavy workload and recorded 34 saves.

The Week Ahead

Wednesday, Nov. 14 - PENGUINS at Springfield

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton will participate in their first weekday morning game this year, dropping the puck with the Springfield Thunderbirds at 10:35 a.m. The Penguins got the better of the T-Birds in a shootout back in the two clubs' season opener.

Friday, Nov. 16 - PENGUINS vs. Charlotte

The Penguins return to home ice and welcome the team with the AHL's best record, the Charlotte Checkers. Friday's game also serves as their first meeting since last year's Calder Cup Playoffs.

Saturday, Nov. 17 - PENGUINS vs. Charlotte

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton close out a busy week with the second game of a head-to-head with Charlotte. These two games are the Checkers' only two visits to Northeastern PA this season.

- With a win at Hartford on Saturday, the Penguins improved to 12-1-1-0 in their last 14 visits to XL Center.

- Anthony Peters earned an assist on Saturday in Hartford, the goalie's first assist of his AHL career.

- Ethan Prow has the second-best plus/minus rating among all AHL defensemen (+13).

- Derek Grant's team-leading shot percentage (37.5%) is currently over three times higher than his career average (13.5%).

- Thomas Di Pauli has four points (1G-3A) in his last two games.

- Di Pauli is the only Penguin to have recorded a shot on goal in each of the team's 14 games.
