Ontario Reign Announce Roster Moves

ONTARIO, CA - The Los Angeles Kings, NHL affiliate of the Ontario Reign, have reassigned goaltender Cole Kehler to Ontario from the ECHL's Manchester Monarchs. Additionally, Ontario has signed forward Sam Kurker to a professional try out (PTO).

The 20-year-old Kehler (born Dec. 17, 1997) is a 6-4, 205-pound native of Altona, MAN. Kehler made his professional debut with Manchester on October 24, stopping 28 of 31 shots in a loss to Maine. Kehler previously appeared in 141 games in the WHL with the Portland Winterhawks and Kamloops Blazers over the past four seasons, posting a 66-51-9 record, a .899 save percentage and a 3.31 goals against average.

The 24-year-old Kurker (born April 8, 1994) is a 6-2, 203-pound native of Boston, Massachusetts. Kurker has collected seven points (3-4-7) from 32 career AHL games with Albany, Cleveland and Springfield, in addition to 37 points (15-22-37) from 47 ECHL games played for Manchester.
