Walleye Receive Simon Danis-Pepin From Rockford

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci have announced today that defenseman Simon Danis-Pepin has been reassigned by the Chicago Blackhawks to Toledo from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

Pepin will be making his first appearance in Toledo after competing in 38 games this year with Rockford. The former 2nd round pick of the Chicago Blackhawks in 2006 has scored one goal with seven helpers in his first professional season. Simon had 36 points (6g, 30a) in four seasons with Maine Black Bears during his college career.
