Rheault, Walker Return To Reign

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL Los Angeles Kings, announced today that right wings Jon Rheault and Geoff Walker will be returning to the roster in Ontario from the Manchester Monarchs (AHL). Rheault has been released from his professional tryout agreement and Walker has been reassigned to Ontario by the AHL club, and both players will be on the roster for the Reign's match against the Las Vegas Wranglers on Friday.

Rheault, 23, has appeared in 35 games with the Monarchs this season, notching six points (3g, 3a) and 14 penalty minutes with the club. The Deering, New Hampshire native started out the 2009-10 season in Ontario, where he tallied 16 points (10g, 6a) and 14 penalty minutes in 15 games. Rheault also appeared with the Providence Bruins (AHL) this season, going scoreless in four games.

Walker, 22, received his first AHL call-up to Manchester after appearing in ten games with the Reign this season. The right wing, who hails from Charlottetown, PEI, recorded 14 points (5g, 9a) and 55 penalty minutes in 37 games with the Monarchs. In his rookie season (2008-09) with the Reign, Walker led the Ontario roster in goals with 21 and split a three-way tie for points with 48.
