Florida Everblades News Release
ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush in coordination with head coach Malcolm Cameron announced that ECHL All Star forward Brandon Buck has been reassigned from Houston (AHL). Veteran forward Ernie Hartlieb reaches another Everblade milestone surpassing Reggie Buck for most power-play goals in Everblades history.
Buck, 21, earned his fourth recall to the American Hockey League three weeks ago on February 11. The rookie forward has played a total of 21 games in the American Hockey League with the Aeros posting three assists and four penalty minutes. The ECHL All Star has 24 points in 33 appearances for the Everblades (13g, 11a). Buck also scored in the 2010 ECHL All Star game knotting up the score at 7-7. Buck is expected in the lineup tonight against Gwinnett.
Ernie Hartlieb surpassed another Everblade milestone on Sunday afternoon. Hartlieb's power-play goal in the third period to tie the game 2-2 against South Carolina surpassed Reggie Berg's record for career power-play goals in an Everblades uniform. Hartlieb now has 33 power play tallies this season, while Berg finished with 32 in his career with Florida. Earlier this season, Hartlieb became the all-time leader in games played with Florida with 312 and counting. He passed up Brent McDonald who finished his 'Blades career with 311 regular season games played.
