(TOLEDO, OH) - The Toledo Walleye are pleased to announce that on Sunday, March 7, the team established another attendance milestone as they eclipsed the 200,000 mark for the year.
The crowd of 7,084 pushed the 2009-10 attendance to 205,135. The team has already established the record for the top attendance season in Toledo professional hockey and with each game, the record continues to climb.
Top Toledo Hockey Attendance Marks: 2009-10 Toledo Walleye 205,135 1977-78 Toledo Goaldiggers 177,988 1998-99 Toledo Storm 173,601
The crowd on Sunday also gives the Walleye their largest weekend in total attendance. The XXX on hand gave the team a 22,545 for the weekend of March 5-7.
