HARTFORD, December 13, 2007: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the Wolf Pack have released defenseman Matt Waddell from his Professional Tryout (PTO) agreement.

Signed by the Wolf Pack November 23rd, Waddell, a rookie out of Ohio State University, played in seven games with the Pack and registered four penalty minutes. In 11 games with the Wolf Pack's ECHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers, Waddell has one assist and 15 penalty minutes.

The Wolf Pack's next action is a home-ice battle against the Manchester Monarchs this Saturday night, December 15th. Faceoff is 7:00.
