December 13, 2007 - American Hockey League (AHL) - Chicago Wolves News Release

The Chicago Wolves will host Cook County Clerk David Orr when they take on the Peoria Rivermen at the Allstate Arena on Wed., Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. Orr will drop the ceremonial first puck in conjunction with the team's "Choose Wolves in Œ08" campaign and continuing push to encourage fans to vote.

Fans who are U.S. residents and will be 18 years of age or older on Feb. 5, 2008, may stop by the voter registration booth located in the South Lobby during the game and complete an official voter registration form.

"I couldn't ask for a better game-winning situation," said Orr. "Not only will people get to see great hockey action, but they can also become part of the democratic process by registering to vote in the 2008 presidential primary. I am extremely grateful to the Chicago Wolves organization for creating such an exciting combination."
