
Celebrate a Holiday skate with the Aeros on December 19

HOUSTON, Texas - The Houston Aeros will host a holiday skate for all season ticket holders at Space City Ice Rink on Wednesday, December 19th from 7:15-8:45. RW Petr Kalus, D Brandon Rogers and C Marco Rosa will be in attendance along with Chilly and the Aero Dynamics for this special holiday skate. Space City is promoting their "Learn to Skate" program.
Petr Kalus: A native of Ostrava, Czech Republic is in his first season with the Aeros. He played primarily for the Providence Bruins last season, but saw nine games of action in the National Hockey League with the Boston Bruins scoring his first NHL goal on March 27, 2007 vs. the Ottawa Senators. He has 10 points on five goals and five assists this season with Houston.
Brandon Rogers: Hails from Rochester, New Hampshire and is in his third season in the American Hockey League. He played the last two seasons with the Norfolk Admirals and has played in a total of 115 AHL games. Rogers currently has seven assists in 20 games played for Houston this season.
Marco Rosa: He was picked up by the Aeros from their ECHL affiliate, the Texas Wildcatters and played his first game with Houston this season on November 10th. Rosa comes from Scarborough, British Columbia and is in his fourth professional season. He has played in a total of 78 AHL games for Houston, Providence and Milwaukee and has 25 points on 12 goals and 13 assists.
No RSVP is needed to attend this event, the Aeros just encourage fans to come by and have a good time. There is a limit of 100 people on the ice at one time, so fans are encouraged to come early. Also, Crazy Jim will be on hand selling various used equipment for low prices which can be great holiday gifts.
The Aeros return home on December 22, 2007 when they host the Springfield Falcons. For a limited time, and while supplies last, get center ice/club seats for only $20 (regularly $30) and corner seats for only $15 (regularly $22) each. The Holiday Ticket Special is also available for the December 26 game against I-10 rival, the San Antonio Rampage. The Aeros' Holiday Stuffer promotion begins at just $44. Lower end zone "Stuffers" are $64, corners are $84 and center ice "Stuffers" are just $116. The Holiday Stuffer can only be purchased through the Aeros front office by calling (713) 974-PUCK.
