LANSING, Mich. - Tim Locastro and Richard Urena homered in the seventh, driving the Lansing Lugnuts (33-23) to a 6-2 win over the Peoria Chiefs (26-30) Saturday at Cooley Law School Stadium.

Locastro broke a 2-2 tie with a three-run home run to left field. The former Ithaca College Bomber has home runs in consecutive games and four this season.

Urena came up two batters after Locastro and powered a solo shot over the right field wall, ending reliever Kender Villegas' (Loss, 0-1) night. The shortstop finished 4-for-4 with 3 RBI, the second time the 19-year-old has had four hits in a game.

Lugnuts starter Chase De Jong (Win, 5-4) tossed seven innings, allowed two runs and struck out seven for his first win since May 21.

Jose Fernandez recorded the final six outs and allowed one hit.

Catcher Mike Reeves also aided the Lugs attack, finishing 1-for-3. Reeves has hits in all four games he has played with Lansing.

D.J. Davis finished 0-for-4, ending a 22-game on base streak.

Sunday's game against Peoria starts at 2:05, a Kids Day presented by Delta Dental. On the mound, Lansing's Jesus Tinoco (1-3, 3.26 ERA) takes on Daniel Poncedeleon (6-0, 1.51 ERA).

The Lugnuts' six-game homestand runs until June 8th. For more information, call (517) 485-4500 or visit lansinglugnuts.com.
