
LumberKings to Host Global Force Wrestling on September 5, Jeff Jarrett to Visit on June 8

Clinton, IA - The Clinton LumberKings, in conjunction with Global Force Wrestling, are excited to announce that Ashford University will host a GFW wrestling event at the ballpark on Saturday, September 5th at 7:30.
The event is part of the Global Force Wrestling "Grand Slam" tour, which is set to begin on June 12th in Jackson, Tennessee, home of the Generals, the AA affiliate of the Mariners. GFW's June tour will also include trips to the home of the Tennessee Smokies, the Mississippi Braves, the Bowling Green Hot Rods, while July will begin with an event at Neuroscience Group Field, home of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.
Founder Jeff Jarrett, who has appeared and/or worked for nearly every major wrestling organization in the US over the last 30 years, will visit Ashford University Field on Monday night as Clinton takes on the Hot Rods. Jarrett will throw out the first pitch vs. Bowling Green and have an autograph session through part of the game.
Ticket information for the GFW event in Clinton for September 5th has not yet been announced but will go on sale soon. Stay tuned to both LumberKings.com and GlobalForceWrestling.com for ticket information as it becomes available.
