
Upper Bowl Seats Now on Sale for United vs. Real Madrid C.F.

Washington, D.C. (June 17, 2009) - With the lower seating bowl being virtually sold out, D.C. United today announced that seats in the FedExField upper bowl to the match against Real Madrid C.F. are now available for sale. The match will be played August 9 at 3 p.m. ET and will feature United facing recently announced acquisitions Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka, the 2008 FIFA World Player of the Year and 2007 FIFA World Player of the Year, respectively.
Upper level seating is now available to the general public through all TicketMaster outlets, with seats ranging from $60 on the endline, $70 on the sideline and $80 for midfield locations. Groups of more than 15 may purchase tickets via www.dcunited.com
Though few tickets remain available for public sale in the lower bowl, priority seating for the game remain available for United plan holders and fans purchasing the International Stars 4-game plan. The 4-game plan features two options of four total games. Option A will include the Real Madrid match on 8/9, the game vs. the LA Galaxy on 8/22, the game vs. Seattle Sounders FC on 9/12 and the game vs. the San Jose Earthquakes on 9/27. Option B includes the Real Madrid match plus the game vs. the Colorado Rapids (a doubleheader with the Washington Freedom) on 7/18, the match vs. LA on 8/22 and the final home game of the regular season on 10/17 vs. the Columbus Crew. Both packages will include all seating levels and prices will range from $113 for Spectator level, $146 for Premium level, $180 for VIP level and $210 for Mezzanine level. Special hospitality packages are also currently available.
