Upcoming Stingrays Promotions

South Carolina Stingrays News Release

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - In addition to seeing great hockey, there are some exciting promotions coming up for South Carolina Stingrays fans when the team plays Greenville on the weekend of December 9-10.

On Friday, Dec. 9, the Stingrays will hold their annual Teddy Bear Toss as they take on the Swamp Rabbits at 7:05 p.m. Fans are encouraged to bring a new or gently used stuffed animal to the game. When the Stingrays score their first goal, all bears and other animals get thrown on the ice. The Teddy Bear Toss Benefits the Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program, giving children in need stuffed animals for the holidays.

The following night will include a live appearance of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle characters Donatello and Leonardo as the Stingrays once again battle Greenville at 7:05 p.m. Bring the kids and make sure to get your picture with the popular TNMT personalities. It is also our first "Hat Trick for Reading" night. Students from local schools will be in attendance after earning a ticket by reading a "Hat Trick" of books (that would be 3 books if you need to brush up on your hockey lingo).

Later in the month on Saturday, Dec. 31, South Carolina will host a New Year's celebration as the team battles the Florida Everblades. The first 2,000 fans through the door will receive a collectible Trevor Gillies Bobblehead. The figure will not only have a head that moves, but Trevor's signature arm flex will also shake.

Single-game tickets for the 2016-17 season are on sale now at the North Charleston Coliseum Box Office and ticketmaster.com.

Ticket packages and Groups of 10 or more are on sale now featuring discounted pricing and great benefits. The club's new 5 Game Plan features tickets to all the biggest games plus added benefits! For more information or to place an order call the Stingrays front office at 843-744-2248 or stop by 3300 W. Montague Ave. Suite A-200 during business hours.
