Defenseman Sergei Boikov Recalled to San Antonio

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, announced Tuesday that defenseman Sergei Boikov has been recalled by the team's AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage. The 20 year-old rookie blueliner has appeared in seven games with the Eagles, posting one goal and one assist.
Boikov was a sixth round selection of the Colorado Avalanche in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft and has already seen action in seven games this season with the Rampage, posting two assists and 10 penalty minutes while posting a plus/minus rating of +2. Boikov also appeared in four AHL contests with San Antonio during the 2015-16 season.
The Eagles will conclude a five-game road trip with a meeting against the Rapid City Rush at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center on Wednesday, November 23rd at 7:05pm.
