Forward Jesse Mychan Returns to Eagles

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, announced Tuesday that forward Jesse Mychan has been returned to the Eagles from his loan to the team's AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound winger appeared in five games with San Antonio and is currently tied for the Eagles team lead with nine goals on the season, having generated 16 points in 11 games with Colorado.

Mychan finished the 2015-16 season tied for the league lead in goal-scoring with 32 goals on the year. In total, the 24 year-old has produced 88 points and 456 penalty minutes in 128 career games with Colorado.

The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native returned to Colorado last season after spending the 2014-15 season with the Cardiff Devils of the EIHL, notching 25 points and 157 penalty minutes in 44 games. Prior to heading overseas, Mychan made his professional debut with the Eagles in 2013-14, posting 262 penalty minutes to go along with 18 points in 55 games.

The Eagles are back in action tonight when they travel to face the Rapid City Rush at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center at 7:05pm.
