
Two Oil Kings Earn Mid-Term Rankings from NHL Central Scouting

Edmonton, AB - Edmonton Oil Kings 2005-born defenceman Vojtech Port and 2005-born forward Cole Miller have each earned mid-season rankings from NHL Central Scouting ahead of the 2023 NHL Draft.
Port, 17, is ranked 157th amongst North American Skaters.
The Jilhlava, Czechia product is in his first season with the Oil Kings after he was claimed off CHL Import Waivers from the Red Deer Rebels earlier this season.
In 37 games, the 6-foot-2, 173-pound defenceman has amassed 13 points (4G, 9A), 10 penalty minutes and a -17 plus/minus rating and leads all Oil Kings defencemen in scoring this season.
Miller, 17, is ranked 179th amongst North Americans Skaters.
The Edmonton, AB product is in his second season with the Oil Kings and has appeared in 34 games this year, tallying nine points (6G, 3A), six penalty minutes and a -22 plus/minus rating.
The 6-foot-4, 174-pound centermen has skated in 93 career WHL regular-season games, registering 26 career points (16G, 10A), 12 penalty minutes and a -18 plus/minus rating.
Miller also dressed in 14 post-season games last year for the Oil Kings on their way to capturing the 2022 WHL Championship and an additional three games at the 2022 Memorial Cup in Saint John, New Brunswick where scored one goal.

The Edmonton Oil Kings next home game is tomorrow night, Saturday, January 14 when they play host to the Prince Albert Raiders at 7:00 P.M.
