Grand Rapids, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League on Friday announced that two road games against the Utah Grizzlies, previously scheduled to be televised live in West Michigan on WXSP-TV, have been dropped from the team's broadcast schedule.

WXSP was to carry the games at The "E" Center on Saturday, Jan. 31 and Friday, March 26 via a feed from Fox Sports Net Rocky Mountain, but the Grizzlies and the network were unable to come to terms on a broadcast agreement.

As a result, the lone remaining TV game on the Griffins' 2003-04 schedule will be a visit to Allstate Arena against the Chicago Wolves on Saturday, April 3. WXSP will carry the telecast live at 8 p.m. EST.

Additionally, WXSP will join 20 regional networks across the U.S. and Canada in televising the 2004 AHL All-Star Game from Van Andel Arena on Monday, Feb. 9. WXSP's live broadcast will begin at 7 p.m. EST.
