
P-Bruins fall to Norfolk

The Providence Bruins continued their three-game road trip on Friday night in Norfolk, Virginia, as they fell in a hard-fought 2-1 decision to the Admirals. Despite the loss, the Black and Gold remains in second place in the Atlantic Division. The Bruins are 21-15-10-1 on the season, putting them in second place in the Atlantic Division, six points behind division-leading Hartford.
Providence left wing Ivan Huml notched his 11 goal of the season on a second period power play, with assists from defensemen Peter Metcalf and Kevin Dallman. Bruin goaltender Hannu Toivonen stopped 26 of the 28 shots he faced in the loss.
The Bruins conclude their three-game road trip on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m., when they face off with the Hershey Bears. All the game action will be broadcast live on WDDZ AM-550.
The Bruins return home to host the Hartford Wolf Pack on Friday, February 6 at 7:05 p.m.
