Columbus Reassigns Brad Moran to Syracuse

Syracuse, NY (January 30, 2004) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have reassigned center Brad Moran to Syracuse.

Moran, 24, appeared in two games with Columbus this season, recording his first professional goal and assist, January 27 against New Jersey. Moran has appeared in 41 games with Syracuse this season, recording 12 goals, 23 assists and 18 penalty minutes. In 223 career AHL games, all with Syracuse, Moran has tallied 60 goals, 85 assists and 121 penalty minutes. On January 28, 2002, Moran made his NHL debut with Columbus appearing in three games during the 2001-02 season, without recording a point. A native of Abbotsford, British Columbia, Moran was signed as a free agent by Columbus on June 5, 2000.

Syracuse hosts the Hamilton Bulldogs at the War Memorial at Oncenter on Saturday, January 31 for Havoline NASCAR Night.
