North Little Rock, AR-The Arkansas Travelers stretched their win streak to four with an 8-6 win over the Springfield Cardinals on Friday night at Dickey-Stephens Park in front of a crowd of 5,042. After seeing the visitors score two in the top of the first, the Travelers answered with four runs in the home half of the first and three more in the second. Arkansas send 17 batters to the plate in the first two innings. Penn Murfee battled through five innings for the win, giving up four runs on nine hits and a pair of walks while striking out four. Three relievers held the lead to the end with Darin Gillies recording a 1-2-3 ninth inning for his second save of the year.

* Bobby Honeyman smacked a ground rule double to right field with the bases loaded to put the Travs on top in the first.

* Keegan McGovern launched a two-run homer to right field in the second adding to the lead.
