ON THE SCORESHEET

- Matt Frattin scored the game winning goal, his seventh goal of the season, midway through the second period. The goal ties Frattin for second among Marlies all-time leaders in game winning goals with 13 (tied with Kris Newbury).

- TJ Brennan, who dressed as forward for this afternoon's game, scored the second goal for the Marlies. It was the 100th AHL goal scored in his career. Brennan is first in AHL scoring by defencemen and sixth among all skaters.

- Casey Bailey recorded his tenth point of the season, assisting on the Brennan power play goal in the first period.

- Josh Leivo scored his ninth goal of the season to open the scoring for the Marlies, he is 14th in league scoring.

- Ryan Rupert collected an assist on the Leivo goal, his sixth point through 15 games played this season.

- Rob Madore earned his second victory of the season turning aside 24 shots. He was named the game's second star.

- Toronto ends December with a 10-2-1-0 record and sit first in the American Hockey League.

- Tonight's victory was the 25th of the season for the Marlies, the first team to reach the 25 win plateau.
