Ciampini Goes Back to Indy

Rockford, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the 2015 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks, announced that they have reassigned forward Daniel Ciampini to the Indy Fuel (ECHL).

Ciampini, 25, has registered one goal in eight games with the IceHogs this season. In 15 games with the Fuel this season, Ciampini has notched nine points (3g-6a).

The Concord, Ont. native played in 15 games for the AHL's Worcester Sharks in 2014-15 upon completing his senior season at Union College. While with the Sharks, he had three goals and three helpers (six points).

Next Home Game: Jan. 3 vs. Milwaukee Admirals at 4 pm. The first 2,500 in the gates will receive a pack of Rockford IceHogs trading cards compliments of the Rockford Register Star. After the game, the team will host a postgame skate where fans can skate with their favorite IceHogs on the BMO Harris Bank Center ice. Skates will not be provided.
