- Justin Holl scored the game winning goal, his first AHL goal, while adding one assist. He was named the game's first star.

- Nikita Soshnikov recorded his first goal and his first assist as a Marlie, earning him the game's second star.

- Richard Clune opened the scoring for the Toronto Marlies, recording his first point with the team. He would add an assist and finish the night +3. He was named the game's third star.

- Andrew Campbell tied his career high for goals in a season when he scored his third goal of the year in the second period.

- Frank Corrado made his debut for the Marlies. Corrado joined the Marlies on a conditioning assignment from the Toronto Maple Leafs. He had one assist on the evening.
