Tonight's Checkers game postponed

CHARLOTTE, NC - The Charlotte Checkers have announced today that the game tonight, Saturday, January 29, 2005, against the Columbia Inferno has been postponed.
"The safety of our fans, our team, our employees, and our opponents is first and foremost in our minds," said Checkers President Jeff Longo. "Given the potentially unsafe conditions traveling to and from the game, we have decided to postpone tonight's game."
Ticket holders will be able to exchange their unused ticket for this game for any other regular season Checkers home game, with the exception of March 11th. Season ticket and mini-plan ticket holders are asked to abide by the existing redemption policy, while anyone purchasing group tickets should contact the Checkers Ticketing office at 704-342-4ICE. Individual game ticket purchasers may exchange their ticket for another of equal value, based on availability, at the Cricket Arena Box Office.
