
Toledo Walleye Announce 2011-12 Schedule

(TOLEDO, OH) - The Toledo Walleye are pleased to announce their full 72-game schedule for the 2011-2012 season. The Walleye season opener will be Saturday, October 15th at 7:00 PM at the Huntington Center in downtown Toledo versus the expansion Chicago Express.
Some of the highlights of the 2011-12 schedule:
-Home games on the day before and the day after Thanksgiving (November 23 & 25)
-Two games during the Christmas Holiday season (December 27 & 30)
-School Celebration Game (November 9 - start time at 10:30 am)
-Eight games versus the Cincinnati Cyclones
-Six home games versus the expansion Chicago Express
-Six home games versus the closest geographical rival, the Kalamazoo Wings (127 miles)
The Walleye will play 31 of the team's 36 total home games on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
Walleye season tickets, mini-plans and group outings are on sale now. Fans can order their tickets by phone at (419) 725-WALL.
