
Cyclones Unveil 2011-12 Schedule

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, have announced their 2011-12 regular season schedule. The Cyclones will kick off their 72 game-slate on Saturday, October 15 on the road when they visit the defending Eastern Conference Champion Kalamazoo Wings.
After playing the first five games of the year away from U.S. Bank Arena, Cincinnati will open its 2011-12 home campaign on Saturday, November 5 at 7:30pm against a new division rival - the Chicago Express. The game will feature $1 Donatos Pizza, $1 John Morrell Hot Dogs, and $1 Soda.
The Cyclones, who drew a franchise-record 149,141 fans a year ago, will compete in the ECHL's North Division for the sixth consecutive season. They will battle the Chicago Express, Kalamazoo Wings, and Toledo Walleye for division supremacy.
Cincinnati's exciting 36-game home schedule features 21 contests on either a Friday or Saturday night and 15 others during the week. Keeping up with tradition, the Cyclones will offer discount beer during games that are played on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday nights at U.S. Bank Arena. Unless otherwise noted, all home games will once again start at 7:30pm with doors opening one hour earlier.
