Todd Jackson heads to Grand Rapids

Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the ECHL announced today that forward Todd Jackson has been recalled by the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League.

Jackson, drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2000 NHL entry draft, has been equally as electric through the first ten games of the year. Todd has scored 6 goals with 10 assists and tied with Magowan for second on the Storm in points. Jackson is tied with Matt Craig for first in the ECHL in game winning goals with 3. Of Todd's 16 points, 9 have come on power plays (4g, 5a). The Griffins are home tomorrow night against Manitoba and Friday night against Cleveland. Saturday, Grand Rapids is in Cleveland starting a four game road string.

Toledo is back in action Friday night at the Toledo Sports Arena against the Stockton Thunder. Saturday night showcases the Storm against the Johnstown Chiefs.
