
Rivermen to host season's first "Church Night"

Peoria, IL (November 15, 2005) - Corporate Sales and Marketing Manager David Rak of the Peoria Rivermen, proud new primary affiliate of the St. Louis Blues, today announced that the Rivermen will host the first HOPE 98.5/Berean Bookstore "Church Night" of the 2005-06 season on Saturday, November 19. The evening's festivities will begin at 7:00 p.m. with a match-up of the Rivermen and their West Division rival San Antonio Rampage. Immediately following the game, the Christian alternative rock group Audio Adrenaline will perform in concert.
Audio Adrenaline is an alternative rock band dedicated to communicating the Christian faith through energetic, passionate, and intense music. Beginning with the release of the group's self-titled debut album in 1992, Audio Adrenaline has recorded nine studio albums and sold over 3 million records. The group's 1996 album "Bloom" earned a certified gold sales award from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and 18 of the band's singles have become number-one radio hits. Among Audio Adrenaline's numerous awards and nominations are five Grammy Award nominations for Rock Gospel Album of the Year, and the group won the 2004 Grammy for its album "Worldwide." Released on August 30, 2005, the latest album from Audio Adrenaline is entitled "Until My Heart Caves In" and is available in stores now.
The Rivermen are a proud new member of the AHL. Founded in 1936, the AHL now serves as the primary development league for all 30 National Hockey League teams and is celebrating its 70th anniversary season in 2005-06.
