Titans Sign Russell

TRENTON, NJ (March 23, 2004) - The Trenton Titans announced today that they have signed sixth-year left wing Bobby Russell, previously on assignment with the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Russell – 6'2", 205 lbs. – was acquired from the Florence Pride on 3/16/04 in exchange for future considerations. Since February 20 he has been on assignment with the Admirals, where has a goal and two assists in 38 games.

With Florence this season, the Surrey, BC native had 6 goals and 17 points in 20 games. Russell's best season came with the Jackson Bandits in 2000-2001, when he notched 68 points and lead the team with 38 goals.

Russell will wear #7 and will make his Titans debut this Thursday against the Greensboro Generals.

The Trenton Titans are a member of the ECHL - America's Premier "AA" Hockey League. The Trenton Titans play at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, NJ.
