Fresno's Posillico Suspended Five Games, San Diego's Sbrocca Suspended Three Games

PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL announced on Tuesday that it has suspended Fresno left wing Neil Posillico for five games and San Diego left wing Sandro Sbrocca for three games as a result of their actions in ECHL Game # 1005 at Fresno on March 20.

At 17:27 of the first period, Sbrocca was assessed a match penalty for high sticking under Rule 61(b) which carries an automatic one-game suspension. Sbrocca is suspended an additional two games under Rule 33A Supplementary Discipline.

At 17:27 of the first period, Posillico was assessed a game misconduct for leaving the players bench which carries an automatic five-game suspension under Rule 72(c).

Sbrocca missed San Diego's game vs. Bakersfield (Mar. 21) and will miss San Diego's games vs. Long Beach (Mar. 23) and at Idaho (Mar. 26).

Posillico will miss Fresno's games at Idaho (Mar. 23), at Idaho (Mar. 24), at Las Vegas (Mar. 26), at Long Beach (Mar. 27) and vs. San Diego (Mar. 29).
