
Titans receive Pisellini and Ruggeri from Phantoms

TRENTON, NJ (March 22, 2007) - The Trenton Titans announced that forward Gino Pisellini and defenseman Rosario Ruggeri have been assigned to Trenton from the Philadelphia Phantoms (AHL).
Pisellini, 20, made his Titans debut this season on January 24 and went on to record 4 points (1g, 3a) and 48 penalty minutes in 15 matches. A fifth round draft pick (#149) of the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2004 NHL Draft, Pisellini has posted 2 points (1g, 1a) in 32 games with the Phantoms this year. The 6-0, 210-pound rookie out of Melrose Park, IL skated for three seasons with the Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League, notching 34 goals, 44 assists and 605 penalty minutes in 216 total games.
Down for his third stint with Trenton this season, Ruggeri has set professional career highs this season with 4 goals, 21 assists and 36 penalty minutes over 52 contests. Now a third-year pro, the 6-1, 214-pound blueliner has appeared in 142 career games between Trenton and Philadelphia (AHL). A native of the Montreal, Quebec, Ruggeri was a fourth round draft pick (#105 overall) of the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2002 NHL Draft.
