Trenton Titans News Release

TRENTON, N.J. - The Trenton Titans announced defenseman and assistant captain Andy Thomas has been loaned to the Adirondack Phantoms of the AHL

Thomas, 26 and a native of Bowe, N.H., appeared in 18 games with the Titans, recording a pair of assists. His value to the Titans was his steady play on the backline.

He joins forwards Adam Presizniuk (Providence) and Tim Spencer (Springfield), who are presently on loan to AHL teams.

This is Thomas' fourth trip to the AHL, but first with the Phantoms. He played in 25 games with the Iowa Chops in 2008-09, one with the Lowell Devils in 2009-10 and 28 with the Albany Devils in 2010-11. In 54 AHL games, Thomas has registered two goals and five assists.

In another move, the Titans released goaltender Anthony Felice, who served as an emergency backup.

The Titans play in Elmira Friday night (Dec. 2) and Wheeling Saturday evening before returning home for a game with the Jackals at 4:00 p.m. Sunday. A full-team autograph session will follow Sunday's game.

The Titans 25 Days of Christmas debuts at www.trentontitanshockey.com at 12 p.m. Thursday.
