DID YOU KNOW?

Trenton is 2-0-0-1 on the road when leading after one period; it is 0-5 on the road when trailing after the first 20 minutes.

Trenton leads the league in Road SHG with 5, and overall with 6 (tied with Alaska and Idaho).

Through the first 20 games of the season, Trenton has the exact same record as last year (8-10-1-1), including being shut out one time.

Social Media Applies Heat

But check the numbers before you press send

With Facebook, Twitter and all the other social media sites, it is simple to let you opinions be heard (good and bad) and even easier to be anonymous and hide behind them (especially when critical).

The Titans are no different. But before you press send, understand the numbers first - Trenton is off to its third-best 20-game start since the 2006-07 season and is not very far from number one. Plus, the Titans weren't in survival/rebuild mode prior to last year. The numbers just past the season quarter pole of 18 games:

2012-13: 8-10-1-118 points

2011-12: 8-10-1-118 (1st year for "New" Titans)

2010-11: 8-11-0-117 (last of 4 Devils years)

2009-10: 8-9-1-219; 2008-09: 6-11-1-215

2007-08: 7-12-0-115; 2006-07: 11-8-0-123

Trenton made the playoffs in 06-07 (def Johnstown 2-0, lost Dayton 0-3) AND even in 08-09 (lost 3-4 to Elmira). So before one hits send with hate and anger - pause, reflect, think and give Trenton a chance to win again.
