Authentic Game Worn Jersey Auction Tonight:

The Orlando Solar Bears and the Meigray Group will be holding a live auction for the game-worn military-themed Camouflage Jerseys (worn on November 10 and 11) during their game on Saturday, December 8, at 7:00 p.m. Fans can bid on jerseys on the concourse level of the Amway Center from the time the doors open (6:00 p.m.) until no earlier than 10 minutes following the conclusion of Saturday's game. Credit cards will be accepted, and all bidders will be required to fill out a one-sheet bidding form that will be provided on site.

Solar Bears Leading the ECHL in Jersey Sales:

Orlando was informed by the ECHL that the Solar Bears have the top-selling jersey in the league. A new shipment of jerseys have arrived and will be available at the Amway Center during the game tonight, tomorrow's contest at 3:00 p.m. Customized jerseys are available to order at the merchandise stand during the games.

Scout Jersey to be Unveiled Tonight:

Shades will unveil the Scout Jerseys during pregame ceremonies tonight. Orlando will wear the special Scout Jerseys during Scout Night on March 2.

Matchup:

Orlando and Fort Wayne come together for the second straight game, and the middle contest of a three game set. Last night's crowd of 6,860 fans saw the Komets score the first two goals of the game, taking a 2-0 lead 5:55 into the second period. The Solar Bears came storming back to score the next four goals, including two by LW Nick Petersen, to take a 4-2 lead midway through the final stanza. Fort Wayne refused to quit, forcing overtime with 7.8 seconds left in the game and winning the eventual shootout to take a 5-4 win over Orlando. Each side had numerous offensive chances in the game, as both goaltenders faced over 40 shots on the night.

Solar Bears Notes:

RW Dan Gendur, who was acquired from Evansville along with C Dale Mahovsky yesterday, is expected to play tonight. Mahovsky is not expected to be in the lineup... Orlando leads the ECHL with 33.17 shots per game... F Ryan Ginand is one goal away from his 50th North American professional goal... LW Brett Lyon was released yesterday... LW Nick Petersen is questionable for today's game... F Derrick Burnett and D Brad Good were released on Monday... RW Chris Lawrence remains on the 21-day IR....G Mike Brodeur remains on the 21-day IR but has resumed skating drills... D Josh Caron and G John Curry are currently recalled to the Houston Aeros.

Fort Wayne Notes:

Last night's game was only the third time the Komets have played past regulation this year. All three have gone to a shootout... RW Brandon Marino is tied for sixth in the league with 27 points... Fort Wayne is 7-1-1 in one-goal games... G Ken Reiter is second in the ECHL with a .929 save percentage... Fort Wayne is 20th on the power play at 14.3% and 11th on the penalty kill at 83.2%.
